My Menopause Friendly Workplace Programme is a structured training and coaching programme that helps sustainability-focused organisations create menopause-friendly workplaces in 90 days or less.
I use a clear general awareness and Menopause Action Plan training framework without HR teams having to figure everything out on their own.
This programme helps organisations move from uncertainty about menopause to inclusive workplaces, supportive policies, and practical solutions.
Menopause Friendly Workplace Programme
This isn’t simply about fairness – it’s about economics.
- Menopausal symptoms cost the UK economy approximately 14 million workdays each year
- Women over 50 are the fastest-growing group in the workforce
- Around 80% of women aged 40–55 experience menopausal symptoms
- 1 in 4 require significant workplace support
The financial impact is substantial:
- Around £1.5 billion is lost annually due to women leaving employment
- An additional £191 million is lost through absence
- Approximately £22 million is lost due to presenteeism.

Do you have a Menopause Action Plan yet?
As more women in sustainability and purpose-led professions reach midlife, workplaces must provide the proper understanding and support for those navigating peri- menopause.
These natural life transitions can impact energy, confidence, and focus – yet with the proper awareness, culture, and communication, they can also become a time of renewed purpose and leadership strength.
In a 2022 Fawcett report, 44% of women shared that menopausal symptoms affected their ability to work.
Having a structured plan in place helps provide appropriate levels of support and proactively address employee challenges.
By providing adjustments, employers can enhance employee retention, reduce absenteeism, and foster a positive work environment.
As a menopause trainer, I can support your organisation to develop a bespoke Menopause Action Plan, along with broader staff awareness and training, to help you shift your workplace culture and deliver impactful, lasting results.
My peri+menopause workplace training packages are designed for both private and third-sector organisations that are committed to gender equity, wellbeing, and sustainable leadership.

What does my programme look like?
My 3-step programme structure covers the depth organisations typically reach through awareness training, half-day manager/HR training, and full-day implementation training. It focuses on practical culture change while empowering organisations to create their own solutions.
Step 1: Awareness & Understanding
Menopause Awareness Training
This stage focuses on building understanding, removing stigma, and helping workplaces recognise why menopause inclusion matters.
Typically, by the end of stage one, my clients are experiencing:
- A much stronger awareness across teams of what menopause is and how it can impact employees at work.
- More open and respectful conversations about menopause, reducing stigma and silence.
- Increased empathy from colleagues and leaders towards people experiencing menopause symptoms.
- Greater confidence among staff to discuss menopause and ask for support where needed.
- Recognition from leadership that menopause inclusion is a wellbeing, equality, and talent retention issue.
Step 2: Manager & HR Capability
Half-Day Training for Managers and HR
This stage equips leaders with practical tools and confidence to support employees experiencing menopause.
Typically, by the end of stage two, my clients are experiencing:
- Managers who feel confident in having supportive and sensitive conversations about menopause.
- HR teams who understand their legal and duty-of-care responsibilities.
- Clear guidance on reasonable workplace adjustments that support employees experiencing symptoms.
- A shared understanding among leaders about how menopause can intersect with wellbeing, equality, and performance.
- Early drafts or key principles emerging for a workplace menopause policy and/or action plan.
Step 3: Policy, Culture & Action
Full-Day Implementation Workshop
This stage focuses on creating a practical roadmap for a menopause-inclusive workplace.
Typically, by the end of stage three, my clients are experiencing:
- A clear Menopause Policy framework tailored to their organisation.
- A practical Menopause Action Plan with priorities, responsibilities, and timelines.
- Leaders who understand how to embed menopause support within wellbeing, inclusion, and people strategies.
- Practical workplace solutions identified, e.g. adjustments, support pathways, internal champions.
